Pacing Yourself

Since the Tornados of April, your Outreach Committee has done a wonderful job of providing both hands-on service opportunities and various requests for items to be brought to the church as we respond to the immense damage in the wake of these storms.
That said, we also know that it will take months and even years to recover, and as time passes various needs will change. For this reason I ask that all of our members remember to pace ourselves in our giving. So many of you have been incredibly generous, with time and money, but please give yourself permission to “pass” when we present an opportunity and give someone else a chance to respond.
We don’t want to burn anyone out, but we do want to help you find a ministry that touches your heart and helps us grow as disciples of Jesus. We will be doing this for long time...
