Preschool Partners has been working with St Luke’s for three years on this Christmas fundraiser. We are very fortunate to have our current supplier who dedicates a large portion of his annual crop to us on the understanding that we want product late in his season. Most Carolina trees are cut and shipped in early November or even October for Florida delivery. The trees which will be delivered to St Luke’s on December 2nd will be cut in North Carolina November 29 and 30. They will be shipped to us in the grower's closed truck. This makes a tremendous difference to the performance of the trees in your house: they won't have been subjected to 12 hours of 70 MPH freeway sun and wind, and they won't sit in Alabama sun on a lot until you take them home. Christmas trees come in various grades, our supplier only sells us "florist" quality trees. There is only one other location close by who buys this high quality, and his prices are substantially higher.
All of the products are from the same farm and are all of fabulous quality!
Here are some customer comments:
"I suppose over the years I have bought more than 30 Christmas trees, and there is no doubt at all that the PSP tree I bought last year was the best. It was as soft and green the day Bill & I took it down after Christmas as many of those other trees were when they came into the house, and they really didn't make it to Christmas. And, there's that tax deduction. It's one of those win/wins."
"How I love just picking a tree up and bringing it home. It's like having an old friend I haven't seen in a while come for a visit. I do not miss going to the lots and "kicking tires" one bit, plus it reminds me to be trusting."
