Lay Ministry

Acolytes

Acolytes are young adults, aged 7th-12th grade, who assist in regular worship services. They are trained by adults who serve alongside Acolytes in worship services.

Lectors

Lectors serve as readers of the Old Testament and/or Epistle and announce the Psalm. This ministry also includes a period of study and training.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEM)

LEMs help administer Holy Communion during our worship services. This ministry includes a period of training and certification by the Bishop. LEMs serve for a minimum of three years.
