Sunday School

Sunday School starts at 9:15 in room 225 for 7th and 8th graders, and room 227 for 9th grade Confirmation. While the curriculum changes each semester, you can expect this time to be Biblically based.

EYC

EYC meets Sunday nights and Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30pm. We meet in Graham Hall for dinner at 5:30, and we go to the youth rooms at 6:30 for programs. That is, unless we have a special event planned, and we have informed you of the change. The focus of EYC is on applying our faith to the world in which we live. Events and programs range from “Christ in Current Events,” or “Exploring Spiritual Gifts,” to serving in a homeless shelter, or simply coming together for fun and fellowship.

Just for Junior High

Southside Basketball League runs from late November to early February and is available for all junior high boys. We will offer a team for 7th grade, 8th grade, and 9th grade.

Urban Ministries is a local paint ministry and is the mission trip for junior high youth. We will typically attend in early June, and the week will include a variety of service opportunities including feeding the homeless, and learning some of Birmingham’s history that have led to the city’s poverty.
