In 2014, Saint Luke's Youth Ministry began a "reconstruction process" led by a team of highly talented consultants from Youth Ministry Architects. One of our first steps was to complete a Youth Ministry Assessment.* Mid-way through the reconstruction process, parents and youth volunteers gathered together to create a vision for the ministry. The group created a list of goals and also a mission statement: Saint Luke's youth ministry includes, encourages, and serves all youth so they may grow into compassionate, connected, Christ-centered young adults grounded in their faith. Looking forward, staff, parents, and volunteers will continue to work with the consultants to create engaging curriculum and life-giving programming for the youth of Saint Luke's.
