Outreach
Saint Luke’s has been blessed with resources that we in turn have shared with the community, responding to Christ’s invitation to “feed my sheep.” Our goal is to allocate one-fourth of our total budget to outreach programs, and every year we meet this goal! In 2010 we allocated more than $575,000 to outreach ministries.
To best allocate our resources, we have developed the following focus areas to respond to the needs of our community:
- Children’s and Youth Ministries
- Disadvantaged Persons Ministries
- Elderly Care Ministries
- Health Care Ministries
- Missions

Although many members are actively involved in parish projects, as well as other projects within the community, we are constantly hearing a call for more opportunities for “hands-on” involvement, so that members might give not only of their treasure, but also of their time and talents. We pray that we may come to live out Peter’s command to use our gifts faithfully in the service of others.
