Carol Pearce

Carol is the Parish Nurse and serves as Health Ministry Co-coordinator . A Baldwin County, Alabama native she holds an undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham  and a graduate degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville’s College of Nursing. Her professional area of concentration is in home health and hospice nursing . In this area she has held positions as staff nurse, educator and administrator. She currently serves on the Board of St. Martin’s in the Pines. In the role as Health Ministry Coordinator she serves as health counselor, health educator and referral agent for community resources. She also works with parishioners during times of transitions between care settings such as home to assisted living or nursing homes. Married to Richard Pearce they have two daughters and five grandsons. They enjoy all activities related to the Gulf Coast including boating, fishing, eating seafood and watching their five grandsons play in the bay and Gulf. Her favorite scripture is 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God concerning you.”
