Welcome
Saint Luke's is an amazing church and an amazing story of faith. Founded in 1949 in a tiny farmhouse in the village of Crestline, Saint Luke's grew, within the span of a decade, into the largest congregation in the Diocese of Alabama. Today, we are one of the largest Episcopal churches in the country, and yet we have not forgotten our family roots or our spirit.
We have ministries and classes to fit every need and interest, and a quick glance at our weekly calendar will reveal programs and groups meeting from morning until night. Because we are nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, we are also able to offer programs and fellowship opportunities that are for such a large place, such as family suppers on Wednesday, and Youth activites on evenings throughout the week.
In short, we are big, and yet small, and we hope you will find something to feed your soul at Saint Luke's!

Information on becoming a Member
Inquirers’ Class and Adult Confirmation Class Information
If you are interested in becoming a member of Saint Luke’s, or have an interest in learning more and/or refreshing yourself on the Episcopal Church, the Inquirers’ Class is for you. Attending does not mean that you are making a commitment; however, to become a member if you are not Episcopalian, you do need this series of classes.
Classes will include topics such as Church History, The Book of Common Prayer, How the Bible Came to Be, Living the Christian Life, and Instructed Eucharist. The classes, taught by The Rev. Richmond Webster, Rector, also provide an avenue for asking questions about who we are as Episcopalians and members of Saint Luke’s.
For more information on these classes, contact Jeanna Speegle at 802-6218 or email
